Artifacts by Casey

Here are two more pieces that are filling my jewelry lust at the moment, these are of course, the plug and socket by the always pleasing and charming work of designer Casey Perez (a previous Psychology major in NYU that found her true passion in jewelry making) in her wonderful jewelry line Artifacts by Casey. I love the subtle quirk behind her work and the way she uses the typical, everyday objects we each encounter as the root inspiration in creating these fun pieces that bring a light air and humor to any wardrobe. The great thing about these pieces is that they come in various metals, including silver and brass, which grants us the ability to pretty much pair this with any given color/pattern/texture/style. If you don't mind stepping out of the box a little and playing with the traditional notions of what jewelery or fashion is supposed to be, or if your the type of person that marches to beat of their own drum and creates their own guidelines as to what it is you like or dislike, then I definitely think Artifacts by Casey might be right up your alley. I personally love these little gems and hope Miss Casey continues exploring her jewelry making gift!
