don't lose your heart

You've sat there and you've thought about what you might say over and over, tonight is no different. You rephrased yourself several times in this little avid habit of yours. You think of brighter, clever things to say that might make her stay a little longer for when the day comes. You reason that It's preparation for when you feel up to par, when the setting is just right, when the perfect opportunity strolls along, when she's alone, but you know that's not happening anytime soon. No, you're quite aware that this is merely your vivid imagination playing scenes and scenarios for your pleasure. Still, you sit in that lucid wondrous state that makes you feel better all the same and in your heart you know that you're are simplywaitingfor something extraordinary to happen. You're not quite sure what it is that will happen, but the anticipation is killing you and all because you feel theneed. You have that thick craving for the blissful sense you once had, but of of course you never quite knew that at the time. Did you? No, people never really know they're truly happy because it's comfortable. We hardly acknowledge comfort until we are comfortable no more. Yes, that's usually how the story goes. It is until you feel you're missing something that you realize you were once a happy son of gun and held some sort of key that fed that bliss. So, here we are now, analyzing the sitting duck, who as we know simply waits, and wait he must because that's all he can do now for he now is, as a result of various different events and circumstances, but a bitter lonely duck.
