Fabric Stix

Thief and Bandit
maze daze fabric necklace $48

Thief and Bandit
braided choker in purple $38

I wanted to share a few new items I've been scoping out and thought were really cute, innovative, and best of all, within our tight-knit budget(no pun intended)! What's better than that? If you're a fellow fashion savvy girl, you will agree that sweeter words are tough to find. I'm joking of course, but on a serious note, I have chosen these few necklaces because I thought they did a fairly accurate depiction of this nifty little technique we've been spotting all over the runways. The different beauties I've picked out for you guys showcase the various ways jewelry designers are using different fabrics to create their beautiful and colorful pieces. What I truly love about this new found material in the jewelry world is that you can have all the showstopping glam of a big bulky eye-catching necklace without the weight! (Sighs of relief are filling the streets) Also, since there is so much variety of patterns/colors/and textures, they can pretty much fit into anybody's wardrobe and add the perfect little zest to any pretty tee. I absolutely love these pieces and can't wait to accessorize with my very own. What do you guys think of this little trend, will you skip or take the dive?

Wear and Tear
black and gold triangle thread necklace $129

(same as above & a wee bit more expensive)

Mirit Weinstock
coral woven silk neck piece with dangling feathers
$407
(so beautiful, so pricey)

Ka Pow Wow
turquoise feather jersey neck collar $98

Dawn McKlecvie
black leather and nude tulle necklace $100
( I'm a sucker for blends of delicate tulle and sexy leather)
