styling/modeling: myself
Like I've mentioned before, I am extremely lucky to have such an amazingly talented batch of friends who continue requesting my help with modeling for their personal portfolios/websites/ect.. Whether they be photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists, or designers, I profoundly admire each of their work and I am always ecstatic to take such an important role in their projects with trying to bring whatever it is they envision to life. I'm not sure I'm a very good model or anything of the sort, but I find the whole process phenomenal and tremendously fun. This was a fairly recent shoot I did for a photographer friend who needed help building his portfolio. There was a big batch of stills to choose from, but this one I particularly like. I'll try to post more of these shoots.. I have a few I've yet to share, but we'll get to that in time(when there's time).
Here are two different views of the dress I am wearing. I wanted to share with you guys because I think it is so great. I bought it at Zara last spring. If you guys have not checked out their stores, you should definitely do so, they have an amazing assortment of clothing items, shoes, bags, accessories, I always have a thrill shopping while there. This particular dress has a beautiful embellishment detail on the shoulders, which I looooove. I think it's the perfect length, not too short, but definitely shows off the stems in a very tasteful fashion. The material is also great for showing off the figure, although, any slight bump will be heavily accentuated, which could problematic.
A close friend snapped this picture of me while out and about. I'm not very happy with what my hair is doing here, but you guys can overlook that. Here we can see the shoulders a tad clearer, which is great. I really wish I had my camera back to be able to detail everything better, I have so so much I want to show you! You guys may also notice the slight checkered pattern throughout the garment, I found that really neat and yes, that is indeed a ring consuming my fingers. Isn't fantastic!? I love it
Oh, and exciting news! Heading to the beach with the lover first thing tomorrow morning. As always, I'm making lists of everything and double checking every one.. I'm pretty excited and soooo sad summer's coming to a close.
It flew right past me.
