I always marveled while I stood watching these seemingly other worldly talented visual street artists creating these captivating scenes in a matter of seconds before a crowd frozen in awe. I found the spray paint being applied in what seemed incoherent messy bounties along with splashing and sprinkling of different colors, plus the various heavy pot covers in different sizes all being being used and removed, replaced and traced, a little confusing at first, but I was visually hooked with the process occurring before me nonetheless. I found the creation of these pieces fascinating and wanted to try it myself so a couple of weeks ago a few good friends and I decided to try our hand at it. To our astonishment, we mastered the craft on our first attempt which , I won't lie, was incredibly exciting!! The example above is not the first painting I did, although I do have it up on my wall proudly stamped with it's birth date. In fact, feeling quite comfortable with the art, I've made a couple of different pieces now using variations of tones and colors since then. This is one example I made a couple of days ago and later gifted my younger brother, which I'm sooo happy to say he loved and hung up in his room along with all his other band posters, which is an honor truly. I'm thinking I'll make a video tutorial of this.. but I'm rather camera shy(surprisingly), so I might reconsider.
